Alvin Liu, the founder of A8 Music Group, who has been served as the Chairman & Executive Officer of this company since 2000. As one of the pioneers of digital music industry of China, he has more than 20 years’ experience of research and management in technology, media and telecommunication area, and ever successfully established and investigated many TMT enterprises, and is the Angel Investor of Tencent Holdings Limited (public company in Hong Kong).

Mr. Liu has been widely known as the leading person of “My Music is Everywhere” by insiders. Established and leaded by him, A8 Music Group took the lead in presenting bells download service in 2001 which opened a new leaf in the history of wireless music industry of China, and presented the first UGC original music platform(www.a8.com) in 2004 which has become the biggest original music service platform in China, and successfully went public on Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited as the first digital music concept stock in 2008（Stock Code:00800.HK）, and being brought into the digital music industry field of national music industry base by General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China in 2001. Mr. Liu set a good example and impetus for the innovation and development of digital music industry chain of China.

According to his outstanding influence and contribution, Mr. Liu hold important posts of many professions and localities, such as, the member of Technology and Economy Profession Committee of National Technology and Science Committee, the deputy chairman of Copyright Society of China, the vice director of Copyright Union of Internet Society of China, the vice-chairman of  High-Technology Industry Association in Shenzhen, the vice-chairman of Shenzhen Angel Investors’ Club, the president of Guizhou Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong,  Honorary Chairman of Shenzhen Mobile Internet Production, Learning and Research Association.. In 2010, Mr. Liu was elected as one of the 30 excellent persons for Shenzhen 30th anniversary and the deputy to the fifth NPC in Shenzhen, in 2011, and he was elected to the member of the third Shenzhen technology and science professional committee.

Mr. Liu was born in 1965, and he was graduated from Hunan University in bachelor degree of electrical engineering in 1984, and achieved the master degree of engineering from China Electric Power Research Institute in 1987, in 1991, he studied for the doctor degree of electrical machinery in Tsinghua University, and his research cover in the fields of intelligence survey technology, electric power automatic system, computer vision and model identify, data communication etc.
